Supporting A Health Sense of Self

Make memories with your child. That doesn't have to mean expensive activities or holidays.
✅ Spend time as a family having fun and enjoying the moment.
✅ Letting them know they are loved, having adventures, sharing interests, trying new things and bonding with each other.
This can build their confidence and lets them know that they matter to you, and the rest of their family. Even little moments of joy and play can really help the world feel like a better place, where they can be safe and happy, and good enough just as themselves. It helps them learn they have value and matter regardless of, for example, how they do on a test.
It can also help them see there is more to life and the world than just things they find hard. That any struggles aren't all of who they are, but that they are also someone who builds great pillow forts, likes to run through the woods, doesn't enjoy sprouts, and who often rides their bike with their family, for example.
