Managing Expectations

 

Sometimes we can overcomplicate things by not managing expectations. This can lead to confusion and misunderstandings.

The ‘When’ and ‘Then’ tool.  

‘When’ and ‘then’ manages expectation and gives a clear message.  It doesn’t mean you won’t get push back but it illustrates that there will be immediate ‘reward’ when the ‘ask’ has been completed.
