Everyone Matters!

Everyone’s mental health matters, whether someone has a diagnosed mental health condition or not, and that includes your own.

At times, you might feel emotional when learning about mental health. This might be due to:

  • something that’s going in your life at the moment

  • something that happened in the past

  • or because mental health is a subject that many people find emotional

Why Self care & Safety Plans?

Often, difficult emotions can come up unexpectedly.

This means it can be hard to predict who this will happen to, when, or if it will happen at all.

This is why it’s important to have a plan even if you feel it’s unlikely you will need it.

Looking after yourself and supporting others

Making your own plan is good practice for coming up with ideas for supporting others, or for future situations where you might benefit from self care.
